Overreact, Much?

So while Bean is away in Hong Kong and Bangkok, I have the kids for 7 days, 8 nights (or a total of 192 hours - though the bulk of those hours are spent at work, leaving 125 hours). In order to further alleviate the challenge of single parenthood, Aunt Denise flew down Friday night to come stay the weekend and help watch the boys so I could do Christmas shopping and we could all attend our neighborhood Christmas party.

So it was a great weekend and everything worked out; except Aunt Neese is not familiar with how we play - and we wanted to film something for Mommy while she was away - so the "she" I refer to in the following video is Aunt Neese:

A Note About Thanksgiving

I am going to make this quick, because Mommy is away in Hong Kong and I am tired.

The 6 days of Thanksgiving were actually more like 4 days if you don't count all the traveling. This Thanksgiving in NY was one of the best in recent memory - the traffic was light, the boys were good, we got to sleep a little more than usual, everyone behaved themselves at Thanksgiving dinner, and I even got to have not one, but two leftover turkey sandwiches!! Good times, good times.

I pretty much ruined our new camera by smashing the LCD screen (though I think Lochlain or Seanie helped), so our pictures were few. And for those of you who did not get to see us - I would just like to say it was my fault. Bean wanted to go see lots and lots of people, but I put the kibosh on that, as I did not want the pressure of cramming everything in to 4 days (yes, I said "pressure"). So, Jeanine is a good friend and I am an evil, evil Bastard-coated bastard with bastard filling.

And now, some Thanksgiving pics:

The kids table - is my absence noticeable?

This was taken after the boys' Gameboys were taken away by Beany.

Dinner must've gotten too noisy for Seanie at one point....

My godson - Brendan-bean

After dinner, the Gameboys were returned; Lochlain loved watching the action!

Meagher Trek - The Next Generation

HUGS!! BTW - Lochlain mentions Carter all the time, and specifically requested wanting to talk to (Aunt) Cass the other day and Uncle Richie yesterday......

Watching Toy Story with Uncle Richie

Hopefully, I will have something more specific for Mommy-Bean tomorrow.
