What The Easter Bunny Brought Me

A new little nephew!! James William Beyrer arrived at 2:05 p.m. on April 17, 2009 weighing in at 7 lbs. and 20 inches long. Jamie, Mom and Dad are a-OK, and we only have a few pics - but here is the choicest one.

James William Beyrer

The Easter Bunny must've swung by with that on some weird return trip - because we saw him the previous two weekends as well. The first weekend in April saw us returning to an Invitational Easter Egg Hunt, which had two egg hunts, the Easter Bunny, and a Mad Science show. This time, the boys actually sat down to watch it - mostly. Then there was one part where Seanie got up and was following the Mad Scientist around. Mommy and I were trying to get him to go sit down, but it was pointed out to us by someone that the Bear was actually mimicking the Mad Scientist as evident below.

Guess who just HAD to sit on the Easter Bunny's lap?

Aunt Mo, Uncle Mike, Conor, Emmy and Brendan came the next weekend for Easter! We had a great time with them - we went to the Science Center, the park, had our 3rd Annual Backyard Egg Hunt (with a disputed count of 66 eggs), played lots of Wii (Dodgeball and Guitar Hero World Tour), watched a lot of Scooby Doo, and ran around the house like lunatics. My favorite part was playing with my Godson Brendan - playscaring/playchasing him all over the house. I also got to teach the kids some important things...like two of my favorite moves - the "Chickenwing" and the "Kneepit" or the time I taught Emily the definition of patience (by hiding in the kitchen pantry closet for 10 minutes and then popping out and scaring her when she walked by).
